Who am I and what do I have to offer?

        Greetings and thanks for taking an interest in me. I'm Chris, but have chosen the moniker Tiki-Boom-Boom which represents my interest and love for vintage, rockabilly, gothic design and style combined with my favorite pastime sport of Boxing. I hold a degree in Molecular Bio Sciences from the University of Kansas and do have a full time job performing medical research. In addition to my other hobbies, I enjoy being behind the camera as much as being in front, so can appreciate and understand the pressure to get the perfect shot under time and lighting constraints and am willing to follow directions while on location. With that in mind, I bring a high level of professionalism, dedication, and reliability to the shoot. The types of shoots I will be interested in will vary widely as my look can be tweaked to fit a diverse range of periods or genres. If you feel you have a strong artistic vision, I am always open to listen to ideas and most details can be negotiated depending on how enthused and intrigued I am. I currently work out of Kansas City but do not hold back from contacting me about a shoot because of location concerns, as long as accommodations for travel can be worked out prior to my departure I am willing to travel.

I am interested in Pin-up Retro, Artistic/Figure, Gothic, Fantasy, Burlesque, Vintage, some Fetish, Alternative Fashion and Punk Rock, as well as Fashion and commercial print work. But I am also interested in other genres of photography, while building up my portfolio and having fun in the process, so just ask!

I  also don't mind getting messy, need a girl covered in mud?, weird make up idea?... Got a bathtub full of cereal? Let's do this!

I am capable of doing my own makeup. Unfortunately, I am not a professional hairdresser when it comes to retro styles. So I am ALWAYS excited to work with new and creative hair, makeup, and wardrobe designers.

What you should know about my figure:

Tattoos: I do have them, I have a Powel Peralta Dragon Tattoo on my middle back, Tiger cub upper left shoulder, Tiger on my left ankle, and am having a tattoo removal performed on my right breast, all of which I am willing to cover up with makeup if needed.

Piercings: I only have my ears pierced.

Scars: I have a small scar on my chin from being attacked by a tree. It is small but in up close headshots it may be visible. I have also had ACL reconstruction from my bodybuilding days and have three small scars on my left leg.

Breasts: Yes they are natural and are therefore subject to the force of gravity

I am a plus size model, so you will find I have the appropriate curves that come with that section of the population. My biggest trouble spots are probably my legs, just so you have full disclosure.

I do not Photoshop my photos (with the exception of the odd pimple), so what you see is what you will get.

Escorts: I will usually have an escort with me when I attend a shoot. They are always non-interfering chaperones there as a support mechanism.

 

Compensation: At this time, looking for:

-Paid work

-Trade for product

-Trade for tear sheet

-TFP if the photographer or project is of interest to me. 

-I do request a copy of the model release form be given at the time of shoot, as I do keep them on file.

-TFP: I will do TFP with outstanding artists, but ask in return for at least 1 -3 edited images from the shoot which I can use for promotional use / on my website. I do not sell these photos for profit and will always post the photographer's credits. for TFP/CD I do ask a decent turnaround time on images (timeframe agreed on in advance). I also don't mind discussing other forms of compensation such as exchange for clothing if it's a clothing shoot ect.

-Any published material shall credit the model and Images may NEVER be listed or credited with a fictitious or false name.

- copies of all published materials must be provided.

 

Nudity!: I will do implied nudity / nudity at my own discretion depending on the project to be determined on a case by case basis and only with those I feel comfortable with. If I have not done a shoot with you before, or your reputation does not precede you, or you don't have an uncanny ability to sell me on a concept I will probably decline the opportunity. However, I am interested in pin up and erotic photography that is performed tastefully, but I don't get naked for the sake of getting naked. And just because I've done something with one photographer does NOT guarantee I'll do the same concept for another- these details are worked out before the day of the shoot and will be decided by ME depending on the shoot, the assignment, the location and the photographer.

 

Contact: When contacting me regarding a project, please provide as many details as possible. This includes, but is not limited to:

-Name and MM# / The name of your company

-What kind of work you are interested in shooting

-Location

-How will I be compensated for the shoot? (TFP, paid, clothing / gear)

-When you would like to do the shoot

-Duration of the shoot/project?

-What I am expected to be responsible for? (Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe)-Description of project and intent of finished product release.

-Links to previous works or website

-Transportation/hotel (if traveling is involved)

-Anything else I should know about the shoot

-Please provide previous model references (MM#s are fine)

 

What I will NOT do:

-I do not do spread shots. Not interested in adult video. Please do not contact me to do anything like this.

-I do not shoot in my home so you must be able to provide a location.

-I will not allow a stylist to cut my hair, I have worked hard to get it where it is, this is the look I wish to cultivate, so am unwilling to mess with the Bettie do.

-I am a professional, courteous, respectful individual and expect the same in return. I will NOT allow myself to be demeaned or treated in an unprofessional manner.

-AGAIN I will not do soft-core porn (leg spreading or explicit nudity) etc.. I have no intention of changing that. 

-I have a fabulous Doctor for a husband who makes me giggle and we have marvelous fun with life. This means I am not coming to a shoot because I need a boyfriend. I am coming to work and to create breathtaking images in which we can both take pride.

-ANY Images I appear in may NEVER be used in or in conjunction with any adult product or service ads, 800/900 # numbers ads or any other adult services and the like, nor may they appear on any adult site.

 

Cancellation policy: For cancellations within 2 weeks of a shoot no problems, within 48 hours, hrmm.. ok, however, if you book me in the future I will require a non-refundable deposit because of the associated expenses preparing for a shoot and the opportunity costs associated with blocking off dates.

 

        WOW!! Now, with all that red tape out of the way, lets have a fun photo shoot! I very much appreciate the time taken to review my work and comment on my pictures. I've had a great time so far getting to this point and look forward to collaborating with even more great people in the future. I'm hardworking and love to smile (unless your picture calls for a scowl). I look forward to being one of the tools in your repertoire to turn your vision into a reality!
